Our Standards
Quality is built into the work
Quality is not something checked only at the end. It is considered throughout the entire process — from material selection and design development to making, assembly and final inspection. Every decision is reviewed against the intention of the design, the character of the material and the finish expected from the Stones Luxury name.
Materials are selected according to the character and requirements of each artwork, while respecting the natural qualities and variations of stone. Proportion, scale, composition, detail and the relationship between artwork and surroundings must work together. The finished piece must remain faithful to the approved design. Dimensions, alignment, details, connections and assembly are considered throughout, especially when several elements must come together as one artwork. Our permanent craftsmen bring years of specialised experience.
Craftsmanship is not only technique, but judgement, patience and attention to detail. Every piece is inspected directly by our team throughout development and before delivery. We do not rely solely on reports or photographs; we look at the finished work ourselves. We will not deliver work that is broken or damaged, unfaithful to the approved design, visibly deformed or poorly executed, or below the expected standard of finish. Natural stone may vary because it is a natural material. Poor workmanship is different. We respect what nature creates, and we take responsibility for what we create.
Every piece is unique. Our standard of care is not. Natural variation belongs to stone; poor workmanship does not. A piece that is damaged, visibly deformed, unfaithful to the approved design or below the expected finish is not considered complete. We respect what nature creates, and we take responsibility for every decision, detail and surface that our own hands create.
